Soccer Registration

Here are some tips for making sure that you register correctly and with no surprises

1. Read all of the information in the "Online Registration Instructions" page.

2.  Examine the ages/birthdates information to be sure you know what league your child will be in.

Know which day your child's league will play on to be sure that there are no conflicts with other activities.

Read the "Buddy" policy carefully to make sure you understand what it allows - and what it does not allow.  You can list one buddy.  Make sure you spell their full name correctly and they do the same.

Contact your child's intended buddy before registration to verify that the buddy intends to name your child (and nobody else).  Make sure they know your child’s full name and list them during the registration process.

6.   P
ractice schedules are chosen by the coaches with feedback from the players/families.  The 5U, 6U and 7U leagues include "practice" time  in their game schedule so there may not be a separate practice for this leagues.

7.  Volunteer to coach.  We can only have teams if we have coach volunteers.  Look below for more information on volunteering to coach.

8.  Be flexible HGRA Soccer is a recreational league.  We do not keep records of wins and losses.  The majority of HGRA Soccer coaches are volunteer parents; some are high school and college students.

Soccer Age Requirements & Game Nights

League assignment is determined by the player's date of birth only.  With over 1,500 players, we do not have the capability of determining league placement by skill level.  The leagues, game day(s) and times, and birth date ranges for each league are shown below.  Once you enter the contact information including date of birth in your registration, the system will automatically let you know which age group you or your child qualify for the 2019 season.
